Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: March 16, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which refunds, credits, or transfers may be issued for programs and events hosted by Turning Scholars Into Leaders (TSIL), including FrontierLabs STEM Labs, camps, workshops, and other educational programs.
By registering for a program or purchasing a ticket through our website, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
Program Registration
Program registrations reserve a limited space for each student. Because our programs operate with limited enrollment and preparation costs, refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation.
Refund Eligibility
Full Refunds
A full refund may be issued if a cancellation request is received at least 7 days before the scheduled event or program start date.
Partial Refunds
If cancellation occurs within 3–6 days before the event, TSIL may issue either:
-
a 50% refund, or
-
a credit toward a future TSIL program
The option provided will be determined by TSIL based on program capacity and timing.
No Refunds
Refunds are not available for cancellations made:
-
less than 72 hours before the event
-
after the program has started
-
for missed sessions or no-shows
This policy helps ensure fairness to families on waiting lists and covers preparation costs.
Transfers to Another Session
If space is available, registrations may be transferred to a future program date if the request is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled event.
Transfer requests must be submitted via email.
Program Cancellation by TSIL
If Turning Scholars Into Leaders cancels a program due to circumstances such as:
-
instructor illness
-
facility issues
-
severe weather
-
insufficient enrollment
-
safety concerns
participants will receive one of the following options:
-
a full refund, or
-
a transfer to a future session
Participants will be notified as soon as possible if a program must be cancelled.
Weather Policy
Programs may be postponed or rescheduled due to severe weather or safety concerns.
If a session must be cancelled for weather-related reasons, participants will be offered:
-
a make-up session,
-
transfer to another date, or
-
a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
Participant Removal
TSIL programs are designed to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
If a participant must be removed from a program due to behavior that poses safety concerns or significantly disrupts the learning environment, refunds may not be issued.
Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will typically be processed within 5–10 business days through the original payment method used at registration.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
